Vanilla Riot (Holland, Norway, Slovenia) plays stripped-down and compressed noise-improv with both electric explosions and particle sound-textures as active components. They released their cd "Stitch" on the norwegian label AIMSoundCity in October, and are now on a release-tour in the Netherlands. Lately V.R. has been working on using interactive projections of prepared video material for a highly engaging and simultaneous visual play with the audio.

While not explicitly strict to any genre, rare degree combines experimental, composed and improvised music with electronics.
