Vanilla Riot (Holland, Norway, Slovenia) plays stripped-down and compressed noise-improv with both electric explosions and particle sound-textures as active components. They released their cd "Stitch" on the norwegian label AIMSoundCity in October, and are now on a release-tour in the Netherlands. Lately V.R. has been working on using interactive projections of prepared video material for a highly engaging and simultaneous visual play with the audio.

rare degree is an Amsterdam based duo focused on the performance of new and experimental electroacoustic music. Founded in 2007 and always on the move, the duo has presented concerts at venues throughout the United States and Europe. They have performed with a wide variety of experimental artists including, among others, turntablist DJ Dubble8, visual artist Sarah Buckius, guitarist Vitor Rua, Quatuor Bozzini and self-proclaimed knife virtuoso Hyaena Reich. While not explicitly strict to any genre, rare degree combines experimental, composed and improvised music with electronics.
