Dac~Ω performance is based on a master (conductor) turntable which driving live electronics. The master score is richly variated in tempo and tonality: the music piece by Liszt on the turntable is the conductor and this controlling other instruments such as synthesizers, just like the conductor does it with an orchestra. In this way the parameters of the instruments are following the dynamics of the conductor while they keep playing their own sounds. A rhapsody in music is a onemovement work that is episodic yet integrated, free-flowing in structure, featuring a range of highly contrasted moods, color and tonality. An air of spontaneous inspiration and a sense of improvisation make it freer in form than a set of variations. 

The result is an unexpected and richly changing soundscape- just like a rhapsody.
